Alternanthera reineckii ‘Rosanervig’ – Pink Aquatic Plant

Alternanthera reineckii ‘Rosanervig’ is a beautiful stem plant known for its vibrant pink leaves and delicate, lighter-coloured veins. Its striking colours create an eye-catching contrast with green aquatic plants, making it an excellent choice for adding colour and depth to freshwater planted aquariums and aquascapes.

This aquatic plant grows best under good aquarium lighting with a consistent supply of suitable aquatic plant fertilizers. With proper care, it can develop attractive pink foliage and become a standout feature in your planted tank. It is suitable for use as a background plant in smaller aquariums or a midground plant in larger aquascapes.

Compared with some other Alternanthera varieties, ‘Rosanervig’ has relatively soft stems and can be more sensitive to handling. Take care when planting to avoid damaging the stems. Before planting, gently remove the lead weight and growing sponge, if present, and separate the stems. Plant each stem individually into the aquarium substrate, leaving enough space between stems for healthy growth and development.

If you are looking to buy Alternanthera reineckii ‘Rosanervig’ in Sri Lanka, this colourful aquatic plant is a great option for creating vibrant, natural-looking planted aquariums.
