Pellia Moss – Aquarium Plant

Pellia Moss is a beautiful and easy-to-grow aquatic liverwort that adds a natural, lush green appearance to freshwater aquariums. Unlike true mosses, Pellia Moss belongs to the liverwort family and can be left floating or attached to aquarium decorations, driftwood, and rocks. Although it can float, it often settles at the bottom of the aquarium as it grows.

This low-maintenance aquarium plant is an excellent choice for shrimp tanks, breeding aquariums, and natural aquascapes. Once established, Pellia Moss can grow well without additional CO₂ injection or liquid fertilizers, making it suitable for beginners and experienced aquarium hobbyists alike.

This Moss also provides valuable shelter and hiding places for freshwater shrimp, baby shrimp, and fish fry. Its dense growth creates a comfortable environment for small aquatic animals while adding texture and greenery to your aquarium.
