Red Root Floater – Floating Aquarium Plant

Add a beautiful natural touch to your aquarium with the Red Root Floater, an attractive floating aquatic plant known for its light green leaves and distinctive blood-red roots. Under suitable high-light conditions, its leaves can develop stunning reddish tones, creating a striking contrast on the water’s surface.

The Red Root Floater is a fast-growing floating plant that can multiply and form dense mats across the aquarium surface. It is an excellent choice for planted aquariums, low-tech tanks, and paludariums. Its floating leaves provide natural shade for fish and other aquatic inhabitants while helping to reduce excess light entering the aquarium, which may help manage algae growth.

For the best results, provide suitable lighting, stable water conditions, and gentle water movement. Red Root Floater prefers low-flow aquariums and does not tolerate strong surface agitation, which can damage the plant or prevent healthy growth. Regularly thin out excess growth to maintain good light penetration and gas exchange throughout your aquarium.

Whether you are creating a natural aquascape or adding a vibrant floating plant to your fish tank, Red Root Floater is an attractive option for aquascaping enthusiasts in Sri Lanka.
